FAQs
Is there an age limit to attend the workshop?
Yes, you need to be over 18 to take part in either workshop. You will also need to sign a disclaimer form and declare any injuries or medical conditions that may affect you during the workshop.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The car park onsite maybe having some work done when we are running the workshop so we are unsure if there will be parking on site or not. However there are various car parks across Falmouth and some free on road parking. Alternatively Falmouth has good bus and train links which are within walking distance of the venue.
How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
If you have any questions or would like more information please contact us at swashbucklingcornwall@gmail.com
What should I bring to the workshop?
Please bring a bottle of water, or a bottle to fill up. We will be moving a lot during both workshops and it is important to stay hydrated. We would also suggest bringing some snacks to keep energy levels up. Some people also find it useful to bring a note book and pen to make notes.
What should I wear?
We suggest you wear clothes you feel comfortable in but also have freedom of movement. Please try and avoid clothes with lots of studs or belts with large buckles. If you wear jewellery please leave this at home or be prepared to remove it during the workshop. Stage combat can bring you into close contact with others so we also recomend bringing with you some antiperspirant as we all start to smell after a while.
