Following various requests, we are giving Life Drawing with Horses a try!

Thanks to our partner Polmartin Riding we are holding this unique life drawing opportunity for you to get up close and person with horses.

​

During the course of the session, you will have the opportunity to draw at least two different horses at their home in Liskeard.

​

The exact horses are to be confirmed but the pictures on this page will give you an idea, some poses will be with tack (saddles etc) others without, there is also the possibly of a model with the horse. As with the costumed life drawing sessions this will be untutored.

 

Pose length will be varied as we are working with animals with their own mind and character however we estimate between 1-15 minutes. The welfare of the horses is of the upmost importance during this session, so we ask you to bear with us if anything changes.

Depending upon weather we maybe inside or outside.

When: Sunday 8th May | 1pm till 3pm

Where: Polmartin Riding School Nr, Herodsfoot, Liskeard PL14 4RE

Cost: £10 per person *plus booking fee

How to get to the venue: There is no public transport to the stables, so we recommend traveling in you own vehicle- there is plenty of parking onsite. Alternatively, the closest train station is Liskeard or Bodmin Parkway, where you can get a taxi to the farm.

What to bring: Any art supplies you need, a stool or chair and some snacks. There shall be tea and coffee making facilities.
