Swashbuckling Cornwall has teamed up with Polmartin Riding Stables near Liskeard, Cornwall to offer this great course!
Designed especially for actors and performers, this course will cover the basics of riding, mounting, tacking, stable management, working with horses on set and more!
You’ll also have the opportunity to take our Riding for Actors Level 1 exam, as listed on Spotlight.
Course Cost: £250
(PRICE INCREASE COMING! AS OF 1ST APRIL 2024- course cost will be £275)
On site Self Catering accommodation available for £30 per person, per night
If you are traveling by train or bus we can arrange a collection/drop off at the station for additional fee.

The courses will be following all relevant government guidelines and those from the British Horse Society.

2. We reserve the right to alter course times, course content and to cancel classes due to any unavoidable and /or unforeseen circumstances.
3. We reserve the right to refuse/terminate tuition at any time.

5. By booking a place on this course, you accept the terms and conditions of the company and release it from blame for any injury during the course.
6. Max riding weight is 14 stone.
COVID 19 cancellation policy/refunds
We will allow participants cancellations/refunds up to 7 days before the course start date if related to COVID 19.
If you are unable to attend due to COVID 19 illness or suspected illness after this date we may offer to roll over your place once to the following course.
Proof maybe required to take advantage of cancellation or refund.
If we cancel the course a refund or roll over of place will be offered.
We suggest all participants have personal insurance.
